The main purpose of this blog is to provide news from the hinterland of Mizoram, and elsewhere which often do not find coverage in the mainstream media. The news analysis are from the personal perspective which is gained over the years through personal experiences at the ground level.

This blog being a personal one, the issues are invariably about Chakma tribe, of which the author belongs to. Efforts are made to give a voice to this "voiceless community" and bring their issues out of confines of sleepy villages to the forefront using the social media.
